The Drake-Kendrick Feud Ignites at the Super Bowl: Streamers Weigh In

The Drake-Kendrick Feud Ignites at the Super Bowl: Streamers Weigh In

Kendrick Lamar Performed during the Super Bowl LIX halftime show. Instead of putting some ice on his feud with rapper Drake, he added fuel to the fire, directly calling him out by name during his song “Not Like Us.”

After performing a couple of songs, he stated, “I want to play their favorite song… but you know they love to sue,” before doubling down and singing, “Say, Drake, I hear you like em young; you better not ever go to cell block 1.”

In response to this, Drake did, in fact, sue, stating Kendrick was lying in his claims and defaming his name as a pedophile.

Adin Ross Stands by Drake and Slams Patrick Mahomes

Adin Ross was one of Drake’s biggest supporters throughout the entire Kendrick ordeal. He continued to support him through the Super Bowl while also trash-talking Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.

It’s not all too surprising to see Adin Ross stand by Drake and trash Kendrick as they’ve been friends for years, tweeting, “This Kendrick halftime show is the worst I’ve ever seen.”

But his hate towards Mahomes was surprising. He took a quick jab at him, posting, “Lol. Please do not ever compare Patrick Mahomes to Tom Brady.”

Netizens on X, especially on “Black Twitter,” took exception to the hate on both Kendrick and Mahomes, hating on him in the replies. In response to this, Adin went off, claiming that Drake revived Kendrick Lamar’s career and responding to some racial comments he was getting.

Sneako Calls Out Kendrick for Having a Dead Career

Adin Ross wasn’t the only Manosphere streamer to dislike Kendrick’s halftime show, with Sneako putting in his 2 cents, posting a video titled “DRAKE IS BETTER THAN KENDRICK” on his X profile.

Sneako’s reasoning behind this is different from many; it simply seems to be based on the halftime show being a political statement rather than a normal performance. He stated:

“I’m very glad we don’t need to pretend anymore. Drake is better than Kendrick Lamar… I watched the halftime show to see the cultural shift happen…In today’s America, nobody wants to see a performance that’s equivalent to a BLM protest. They want to dance.”

However, he quickly then went down a Kanye rabbit hole, sticking by the bipolar star and archiving his tweets on yzy-twts.com, taking away from his main argument.

Kai Cenat Talks on Fake Crowd Cheers

Kai Cenat’s review of Kendrick’s halftime show wasn’t as scalding as many other streamers, but he still wasn’t a big fan, mentioning that he could have switched out a number of the chosen songs for more popular options. Moreover, he questioned the vibes of the show and crowd altogether, stating:

“Although the vibes were not good, the crowd was not it; I don’t even think, like, bro, they were just not f**king with the performance. Like, up until Not Like Us.”

The worst thing of all had to be his comments on the crowd noises being added in the post for the Super Bowl broadcast, as the fans didn’t know the lyrics to almost any of Kendrick’s songs. He said:

“Kendrick Lamar came out; word to my mother, if anybody was there, y’all know what it was anyway; y’all felt it. Crowd was making no noise.”
