Drake Joins xQc for a Kick Stream: Casino Games, Humor and Hip-Hop Drama
Drake joined xQc on Kick recently, marking the second time the superstar has been seen on the platform. The stream was full of hilarious moments but was primarily for a $500,000 giveaway and a gambling session as a way for Drake and XQC to thank the loyal fans.
He also used the stream as an opportunity to update his fans on the highly anticipated collaborative album with R&B singer PartyNextDoor. He stated:
“Me and Party’s album is 75 percent done shout out to PX cooking right now. Album sounds incredible… This album is good; it’s the sound that people know and love us for.”
Drake even brought out a magician on stream to entertain XQC and chat while they were gambling and chatting.
However, with Drizzy, nothing is ever simple, with tons of shots being taken at different creators and hilarious clips all the way through. From the current state of rap to streamers and going on tour, a ton was said.
Shots Fired at Celebrities
As many know, Drake has beef with tons of people in the music industry, and he’s never been shy to call them out. While many people tend to hyperfocus on the Kendrick Lamar beef, it wasn’t the first tussle he’s gotten into, and it won’t be the last.
The Weeknd
Drake shot at the Weeknd a couple of times during the stream, but the biggest slight came when XQC decided to play Starboy by the Weeknd. As soon as he started playing it, Drake told him to “switch this song,” as he had beef with the artist. Drake stated that The Weeknd wasn’t a real one and that he was a “real 6ixer,” referring to his time in the 6 (a neighborhood in Toronto, Canada).
Steve Lacy
Steve Lacy was up next on Drake’s chopping black due to him supporting Kendrick’s The Pop-Out Concert. However, even Drake mentioned that it wasn’t real beef, stating:
“This guy’s like a fragile opp, it is a good song, though.”
In response to this, Steve Lacy took to social media, making light of the joke on his Instagram story, saying, “who tryna be my…fragile opp.”

Anitta Max Wynn Tour
For those unaware, during Drake’s first appearance on Kick, he created an alter ego named Anitta Max Wynn. It was originally just a funny joke, but due to the traction of it all, Drizzy announced a tour under the name and some merch.
On this tour, he is set to go to Australia for the first time in eight years, where he will be going to Melbourne, Sydney, and the Gold Coast.
The tour is scheduled to commence on February 9th, coinciding with Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LVII halftime performance.
XQC Set to Visit Drake at His Home for the Next Stream
Drake and XQC gave us a little glimpse into their next collaboration as Drizzy was leaving the stream. XQC invited himself to the superstar’s home as a joke, but Drake instantly took him up on the offer, inviting him over before stating that they were gonna get “cooked” later in the night.
It’s evident Drake truly likes XQC, so there’s a good chance they will continue to collaborate with each other more and more in the future.
