Adin Ross and Donald Trump Met Live on Kick Stream – How Did the Meeting Go?
After UFC 287, Adin Ross worked with Dana White to put him in contact with former President Donald Trump, and the meeting finally happened. The meeting, which occurred live on Kick on August 5, 2024, pulled in a staggering 580,000 viewers at its peak, with the two of them sitting in a Tesla Cybertruck.
Many news outlets have criticized the meeting, speaking on the so-called “toxicity” of Adin Ross and how influential his male Gen Z audience is, especially when Adin pushes for Trump himself. However, the stream was a huge success, garnering much more attention than Kamala Harris’s Megan Thee Stallion meeting.
During the stream, Adin was anything but shy with his questions and interactions, even giving Trump a Rolex at one point.
However, the real drama began when Adin started talking about Fani Willis, a district attorney in the state of Georgia. Interestingly, Willis is the same attorney who filed an indictment against Trump for alleged election interference during the 2020 presidential election.
Adin went on to say:
“I have a friend who’s currently being treated very unfairly by Fani Willis. He’s a rapper named Young Thug… I was just wondering if there’s a way that we could make sure he gets treated fair?”
For some background, Young Thug has been in jail since May 2022 for co-founding and overseeing a gang called “Young Slime Life.”
Trump then tiptoed around the question for a little bit before simply saying, “He’s got to be treated fairly.”
Once Adin was finished with his interview, he also gave Trump a “gift”, a Tesla CyberTruck with his face on it. We don’t know how much Trump cared for the gift, but once you get as rich as him, everything’s more about the optics than the actual price.
What were Donald Trump’s Motives for Joining the Stream?
Kamala Harris and Trump are both desperately trying to win the Gen Z vote, as they may be the deciding factor in the 2024 election. This made getting onto a live with Adin Ross huge for Trump, as he could reach generally more conservative Gen Z men, appearing as a good guy.

Harris has tried to breach this demographic at length through TikTok, as she primarily has a female voter base in the 18-24 range, but Trump went straight to the source.
Trump was able to seem lively, intelligent, and humorous even as he made a number of comments on celebrities and politicians. And while a small stream like this will by no means push the needle too far in his direction, the PR was great.
This has all likely put a fire under Kamala Harris, so it wouldn’t be surprising if we see her appear on a stream soon, maybe with somebody like Valkyrae or Pokimane.
It really seems like streaming as a medium is finally being recognized by the powers that be, both in the US and across the world.
