Mizkif’s Anti-Gambling Hypocrisy? Casino Employee Alleges Secret Negotiations

Mizkif's Anti-Gambling Hypocrisy? Casino Employee Alleges Secret Negotiations

Despite his war on gambling back in 2022, recently released DMs show Mizkif allegedly only took this stance after being given a low offer by a gambling affiliate.

X user @GamdomHowly, who is affiliated with a casino and sportsbook platform named Gamdom, leaked a statement on March 16, 2025. In the messages, Mizkif says, “Yo. Do you know a point of contact I can have for Gamdom.”

He followed this up by stating that Mizkif didn’t like the money that was offered his way, leading to his stance on gambling.

He said:

”Right before the entire anti-gambling protest was happening, Mizkif was trying to close a gamba deal. He didn’t like the money that was offered, so he got super salty and started teaming up with other creators to aggressively call Twitch to ban gamba.”

While nothing has been confirmed, and Mizkif himself staying silent on the matter, it raises some questions about the validity of what large streamers say.

Mizkif’s War on Twitch Gambling

Following several unfortunate instances in the slot streaming world, many streamers attempted to take a stand against the practice in late 2022, with Mizkif and Pokimane leading the charge.

During a live stream that followed an unfortunate scamming incident by streamer ItsSliker, they collaborated live to pitch an idea of creating a statement for Twitch to ban all gambling content on the platform.

Following this stream, Mizkif tweeted, “like if @Twitch should ban gambling,” getting 118 500 likes and 300 replies. Much of the community was fractured on the topic, with many blaming the gamblers themselves and urging self-control, while others, like Mizkif, blamed the platform for allowing the content.

He stated:

“Just ban gambling; I don’t get it. Think about hundreds of people who are like Sliker but have no platform.”

However, even with the uproar, Twitch never completely banned gambling and instead shifted the blame to offshore casinos and not legal operators.

In an official statement, Twitch said:

“Starting October 18th, we are further tightening our rules to also prohibit any streaming of listed sites that contain slots, roulette, and dice games and are unlicensed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions that offer consumer protections like deposit limits, waiting periods, and age verification systems.”
