Ludwig and Alexandra Botez Call Out Poker Sponsor Over Unpaid Earnings

YouTube streamer Ludwig Ahgren and Twitch streamer Alexandra Botez have both called out a previous poker sponsor for not paying them. Ludwig, who has been notoriously on the outside of drama, reporting on it from his channel Mogul Mail instead, made his first callout against a company known as America’s Cardroom (ACR).

On a recent stream, when asked about his most regrettable sponsor, Ludwig said:

“The sponsor that I regret the most is a poker company I used to work with called America’s Cardroom. I was only sponsored to play poker. They did have a casino, but I never got sponsored to play the casino, only the poker… Now, you might think I regret it because I was promoting gambling or something. I didn’t give a f*ck about that. I think poker is a dope game. The reason I regret it is because that company refused to pay me out and the money that I earned playing poker.”

Ludwig then went on to say:

“It was so f*cking hard to pull the money out, and if it’s hard for me, it means it’s hard for the other people who I was promoting to play poker. And so I stopped working with them.”

This is a scalding review for the site, as Ludwig has been one of the fastest-growing streamers for some years now, with a large 18-32-year-old audience. His viewers are the exact demographic this company would be looking for.

Following Ludwig’s comments on stream, streamer Alexandra Botez weighed in on the situation, stating that America’s Cardroom didn’t pay her out either.

In a tweet on her X account, Alexandra stated:

“ ACR hasn’t paid out dozens of creators for sponsored streams from well over a year ago, myself included. ACR contracted @EndGameTalent and blames them for ripping them off. While that complicates things, I spoke with ACR CEO who promised to make things right but instead ghosted. They are not trustworthy.”

After some back and forth with fans, Botez also tweeted:

“ACR days they will help and then crickets. Endgame also said that if anyone sues, they will liquidate their assets and declare bankruptcy, so can’t even take legal action.”

Fan Reactions

Getting ghosted by the CEO was pretty much a death sentence for the poker company, at least in the eyes of the streaming world.

@Eric__Shunn tweeted “This should come of no surprise, ACR has never had a good reputation. Should have done proper research and never got involved,” and @AGoodBanana said, “Why do you work with a sh*t tier company?”

All in all, it doesn’t look like ACR or Endgame will be getting any gambling streamers to work with them any time soon, and they’ve made the viewers hate them. If you spite somebody’s favorite streamer, they will boycott your company completely.
