Streamers Slam Jack Doherty for Reckless Driving Incident Leading to Permanent Kick Ban

Just when Jack Doherty seemingly couldn’t be hated more by the streaming community, he went ahead and got into a wreckless accident on stream. The young personality went live on October 5, talking with his chat while speeding down a road in his Mclaren before losing control of the vehicle and slamming into a guardrail.

Doherty not only put himself and his cameraman in danger but potentially risked the lives of those around him by driving his supercar so recklessly. But to make matters even worse, after the crash, he didn’t even stop screaming – he continued to make content, recording the entire ordeal.

In response to his reckless actions, Kick almost immediately permanently banned the streamer from the platform.

Doherty instantly became bad press and was dropped, as if he were allowed to stay on the platform, they were basically saying it was okay to drive and stream, potentially ruining their image.

Streamer Outrage Against Jack Doherty

A ton of top streamers also gave their two cents on the accident and following ban, with the overwhelming majority agreeing with Kick’s decision.

Adin Ross was one of the first people to comment on the situation, ripping into the streamer over how he acted, stating that Doherty had to pay him $300,000 to return to Kick while generally clowning on him.

Adin said:

“300k, you gotta give me 300k cash if you want to get unbanned on Kick. If not, you’re indefinitely suspended—go to Twitch and get banned… Second of all, you paid N3on 30k to host his channel like twice, and you also paid him to go to your birthday for like 30k, so stop this little tough guy act.”

XQC also gave his two cents on the situation, hating on the streamer and saying Doherty didn’t get enough hate. He said:

“Chat, the hate on creators is 90% of the time unwarranted, but I think the hate on this guy is like 100% and extra warranted. Like, I don’t think this guy gets hated enough, I’m not even kidding.”

He also commented on how “braindead” Doherty was for not even caring about his friend who was in the car with him, instead streaming as if nothing happened.

In an X community note, it was even mentioned that his friend had been bleeding from his head badly when Doherty asked him to continue filming with the camera.

Asmongold’s reaction was about the same as XQC’s, railing the kid for caring more about his car than his friend before laughing at him for his stupidity. He said:

“I’m sure State Farm or like Geico, they love Kickstreamers; they can see that and be like you were on the phone while you were driving.”

However, the most scalding comments probably came from 100 Thieves founder Nadeshot, who said Doherty deserved jail time. Nadeshot went on X/Twitter saying:

“This guy deserves jail time. Honestly, I couldn’t believe what I watched when I made it to the end of this video. I’m not a fan of cancel culture but this kid needs to be demonetized from every platform imaginable at bare minimum.”
