Is Adin Ross Headed to FaZe Clan? Streamer Returns to Kick with Hints at Possible Move

Popular streamer Adin Ross spoke about possibly joining FaZe Clan along with his friend Cuffem on a recent stream. On July 24, 2024, Adin spoke briefly on his stream about a talk he had with FaZe Banks, the CEO and 51% owner of FaZe Clan, about possibly joining the organization, and from the looks of it, the talk went well.

This was by no means the first time Adin has spoken about possibly joining the organization, though, as the streamer mentioned it briefly back in April before bringing the topic up again during his comeback stream.

Many brushed these comments off considering Adin had mostly made content with the SSB crew in 2024, but this could be a great way to refresh his brand.

However, this wasn’t good news for everybody, as SSB member Cheesur was outright rejected by FaZe Banks when asked about his possible move to FaZe.

On his stream, Adin Ross said:

“I had a long talk with Banks today. He said he was down to have Cuffem joining and shit, but he said absolutely not to Cheesur. So chat, Cheesur will be getting left in the dust. What’s your reaction to that, I’m seeing some W’s.”

While the move is by no means a sure-fire thing, it looks like we may be getting another addition to FaZe, with Adin joining hands with JasonTheWeen, Lacy, and the other FaZe guys.

Is Adin Ross Serious About Changing His Image and Stream?

It really seems as though Adin Ross is finally taking his brand seriously after dragging it through the mud over the last couple of years. And while he claims the main reason for the change is to get unbanned on Twitch, it’s way deeper than that – it’s about doing a full refresh on his community.

In an earlier stream, Adin even spoke on how his chat and community could’ve been much better had he gone down a different path.

He said:

“Could you imagine if I never went down that edgy and toxic road, man? Where this community would be, it would be the craziest sh*t of all time. These FaZe motherf*ckers would have been going too crazy…If I get unbanned, I can go f*ck with them for a little while.”

If Adin changes his content, it will inevitably alter his chat and fans, as the more “toxic” viewers leave to find a more volatile streamer to watch. This would be a bad thing for smaller creators, but it could be a breath of fresh air for Adin.

That being said, getting unbanned on Twitch is for sure a high priority for Adin, with the streaming platform still pulling in more viewers than Kick by a long shot.

All in all, it’ll be great to get rid of the “edgy kid” vibe that seems to surround him, and who knows, he might even get an older viewer base going forward, not just 12-year-olds.
