Zombs, or Jared Gitlin, has been a part of the streaming and gaming community since 2016, finding tons of success in eSports and streaming. He’s managed to build a community that watches for him as opposed to a specific game, helping him transition his content to include more gambling and other games over the years.

Starting off with Overwatch, his talent was easy to see. His tracking skill was undeniable, along with general crosshair placement. The then 17-year-old started streaming to a decent-sized audience and never looked back. His outgoing and unfiltered personality loves him for him, and it looks like he’ll be streaming for years to come.

With a decent 390,000 followers on Twitch, he may not be peaking anymore, but he certainly made his bag before he started taking it a bit easier. He by no means needs to worry about money anytime soon.

Background & Streaming Career of Zombs

Jared “Zombs” Gitlin was a professional gamer long before he was a streamer, having his roots in games like Overwatch and Apex Legends. Overwatch, in particular, was the first game he really took seriously, starting his career in 2016 and quickly gaining a following for his high-level gameplay. This early exposure to the competitive scene laid the groundwork for his transition into streaming.

His move to Apex Legends and then Valorant made him grow bigger in the gaming community, playing with some of the biggest names like TenZ

Throughout these transitions, Zomb’s worked tirelessly to build his stream along with his skillset, as they really went hand in hand. His dedication to the grind also got him a lot of props from fans and competitors alike.

However, in recent years, he’s started diversifying his content into one of the more lucrative niches: slot streaming. It hasn’t been that well-received amongst his fanbase, but it hasn’t killed his stream either.

His super direct and unfiltered personality keeps people around regardless of what he’s streaming, helping him grow.

Controversies

Back in April 2022, Zombs dropped a bombshell claiming that Riot Games allegedly dipped into the Valorant Champions 2021 prize pool to cover unexpected expenses, like COVID-19 testing and other costs. According to him, instead of the promised $4,000 per player, he received only $1,000 from the team’s payout for finishing 9th-12th.

Sentinels’ CEO Rob Moore admitted later on that it was indeed a mistake, and that he had misread Riot’s expense breakdown and wrongly charged all costs to the players’ winnings.

While not headline news, there are rumors surrounding Zombs. He allegedly made several huge money transfers into his Swiss bank accounts during matches. Moreover, there are plenty of suspicions about him using betting websites right before he would play in games, likely letting him rake in hundreds of dollars if he threw.

Favorite Games & Streaming Style

Zombs’ streaming style is different to most in 2025, sticking to his more unfiltered and sometimes over-the-top personality instead of walking on eggshells around people. This has worked wonders in the gambling space, as that’s pretty much the norm, but has, over the years, put off some people.
