Kick Launches New Bounty System: Streamers Can Now Win Subs for Completing Challenges

Kick.com is looking to finally take a stab at Twitch’s market share, shaking things up with a new feature called Kick Bounties. In theory, Kick’s new bounty system should add some excitement for streamers both large and small.

For larger creators, the bragging rights of being the first to complete a bounty would be plenty, but the rewards are also quite lucrative if you were a smaller streamer.

How It Works

Streamers can take part in Kick Bounties super easily; all they have to do is follow the KickCommunity X (formerly Twitter) page. There, you can find a list of active bounties with varying levels of difficulty.

The challenges could be something as easy as beating the Ender Dragon on Minecraft hardcore mode, or something a lot harder like streaming in a specific city or region.

It’s also fantastic that Kick is giving small creators a chance to show, as you can access the program regardless of your following.

The program started as a beta in June, initially focusing on challenges within popular games like Destiny 2 and Elden Ring. But now that it’s fully launched, there should be a ton of bounties coming up.

Claiming Your Bounty

Once you find a realistic bounty that you feel you could fulfill, finish the bounty on stream, and make sure somebody in the chat takes a quick clip of it. If you don’t have a clip, it’ll be hard to prove you completed the challenge.

This clip must then be submitted to Kick by replying to the designated KickCommunity X post for the specific bounty. The first streamer to submit a valid clip gets the reward!

Rewards and Rules

As of July 2024, the reward for completing a Kick Bounty is currently set at 50 gifted subscriptions, at least for now. However, the Kick bounties system has a pretty interesting twist – the longer a bounty remains unclaimed, the higher the reward becomes. This means that theoretically, a small streamer could challenge a nearly impossible bounty and get a ton of instant clout.

Imagine going from a nobody on Kick.com to the guy who completed the 1000 sub bounty; you would instantly hit the front page of r/livestreamfails.

However, it’s still important to remember that Kick has strict rules against using mods, glitches, or exploits to complete bounties (unless explicitly permitted).

The Future of Kick Bounties

Kick bounties

Kick Bounties will probably add a bunch of hype to the Kick community, at least in the short term. Without a doubt, we will get to see a new breed of streamer pop up, one centered around these bounties.

Current Bounty Challenges

As of July 22nd, here are some of the Kick Bounties currently available:

These are just a few of the first examples we’ve gotten, and new bounties are likely to be added quite often. So, if you’re a streamer on Kick.com, or just a viewer looking to suggest content to your favorite comfort streamer, head over to the KickCommunity X page and see if there’s a challenge.
