Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat made his professional LBA debut after a rather eventful “draft” that saw him picked last. The LBA is Kai Cenat’s own brainchild, created mainly for content, making it even funnier that he chose to be picked last.

In his very first game, Kai suited up for the NYC Skyscrapers, playing against the Dallas Giants. Kai started this game off strong, grabbing 4 fouls within the first quarter while doing basically nothing else.

Throughout the rest of the game, he didn’t do much better, throwing up a number of terrible shots with absolutely no form; he was making the grade schoolers look fantastic.

In one clip, Kai even got stuffed by a 12-year-old, running after the kid and getting his face in his face about the play.

That being said, it was obvious this whole ordeal was for content, with Kai bringing in hundreds of thousands of views and millions of impressions on social media. Although he’s gone ahead and made himself the butt of a joke, he’s consistently pushing the boundary of what it means to be a Twitch creator.

Real-time and efforts were put into the streams and the league as a whole, surpassing even the most traditional media in terms of production quality and entertainment.

Kai obviously made a fool of himself during the draft, making sure he was the last pick, coming after several joke players. The entire event was set up perfectly with great comedic timing, tons of hilarious background characters, and enough anticipation to keep you watching all the way through.

Stephen A Smith Laughing at Kai Cenat for Not Getting Drafted Third

Kai again and again said he would be drafted in the top three at a bare minimum; however, things didn’t go exactly as planned, with the Atlanta Mountains picking Jacobi Jeffries over him.

Stephen A Smith, a popular NBA commentator, then went off on Kai Cenat, saying:

“You thought you were going to be number three. I know you think you got a little J, you think you got a handle, you think you can get to the hole any time you want to, but it’s about how you finish, not how you start.”

A Newborn Kid Gets Drafted Before Kai Cenat

Newborn Da’shawn Levitz was hilariously picked before Kai Cenat, being “born” thirteen minutes into the draft. Following this pick, Kai sat astonished with his head in his hands contemplating his actual skill level.

This pick also followed Roger Richards, a “criminal” who was picked right before the child, highlighting how trashy the event is supposed to make Kai look.

Kai Cenat Getting Picked Last in the Draft

Once Kai’s name was finally called, he had fallen all the way down to the last pick of his own fictional LBA draft. Following the pick, Kai popped off and started to taunt and mock the nearby children.

During his draft speech, Kai said:

“How y’all doing today? I don’t give a f*ck. Y’all laughed the whole time I wasn’t drafted, Jacobi Jeffries, f**ck you and your family. Y’all gotta see me on the court regardless! Tomorrow night, see me on the court! F*ck all of you.”
