Behind the Scenes: How Slot Streamer Syztmz Negotiated a Million-Dollar Deal
Kick streamer Syztmz took to his broadcast to speak on his casino deal, stating that after much deliberation, he had finally decided on who to work with.
For those unaware, Syztmz is a pretty well-known slot streamer in the space, known for his affiliation with Stake and his inability to maintain a healthy bankroll. The guy seems to go broke no matter how much money he makes.
However, it looks like he has been able to fix his money problems through a lucrative deal he made with Stake.com, choosing them over two other popular online casinos.
Syztmz made it known that he had two other casinos come knocking on his door, asking him to become a main affiliate for their platform. One offered him a staggering $13 million, while the other came in just shy of the same number; truly life-changing money.
He spent a fair amount of time thinking over his deals, originally deciding against Stake in favor of the first casino that came his way, not because of the money but because Stake had rinsed him over the last several years.
Syztmz’s deal with the other casinos also had little to no stipulations, unlike many other affiliate deals. He only had to stream 40 hours a week, had no minimum wager, and could choose his own schedule; all great perks.
He also spoke about how his “value” was much higher to other casinos, lamenting that Stake probably couldn’t afford to give him the same deal.
In his own words:
“The only way I would take a Stake deal was if it was considerably more. It’s not that I don’t like Stake, I love Stake. I’ve loved working with Eddie because he literally lets me do whatever I want; the problem is I’ve lost so much money on Stake.”
He even said he had lost close to $6 Million over the last two years streaming Kick slots and other games.
That being said, he did end up going back to Stake.com after everything was said and done, likely due to Edward Craven’s insistence and his trust in the company. After a call with the Stake CEO, he cracked, taking a deal worth close to $13 million.
Content of Syztmz’s Deal
Syztmz already had a thing going with Stake.com, but he was able to get some serious upgrades to his contract when he resigned. The content of his deal included:
- Increased affiliate payouts.
- Stake must give him a 12-month notice if they wish to part ways with him.
- Up-front bonus of $1 million.
- Guaranteed pay raise from $2,250 to $3,500 per hour.
